Hi, my name is Ahana Raghavan and I am the founder of Woolf's Torn Pages. We have helped 130,000 women so far through legislative action, donations of almost 100,000 products, and innovative design/research. Reaching gender equity is a goal I think is incredibly important to strive towards, and sometimes it needs to be done in unconventional ways. I started this social enterprise a few years ago with the goal of combating period poverty everywhere I can, but it has grown into so much more. I have spoken globally about my work in advocacy, lobbied for public policy changes, published materials on women's health and public health equity, and I have been recognized with awards for these contributions. I hope to expand our efforts further, and as the Chairwoman of the Menstrual Hygiene Council, I hope to engage more passionate students as well!
